The symbolism of Hayk’s Arrow
In Armenian tradition, Hayk, the founder of our nation, secured our freedom and established Armenian statehood by defeating Bel, a tyrant who sought to enslave us, with a single arrow—a victory traditionally dated to 11 August 2492 BC. His arrow represents technological ingenuity guided by strategic genius. It symbolizes our freedom, independence, sovereignty, and resolve to shape our own future.
