Armenian National Council proclamation of state authority
Proclamation by which the Armenian National Council assumed governmental authority in the Armenian districts after the dissolution of the Transcaucasian federation.
Context
The proclamation’s issue date and the commemorated founding date of the First Republic are separate pieces of metadata.
The 2018 archival caption identifies the proclamation as issued on 30 May 1918, retroactive to 28 May, and gives archival reference HH1/1-1. This link is a later facsimile reproduction; a fresh transcription and close collation of the scan have not been supplied.
