Wilson accepts the arbitration task
Colby instructs Wallace to communicate Wilson’s willingness to act as arbitrator for the Armenian boundaries.
Context
This is a communication about accepting a task, not the arbitral award itself. Its published form is explicitly a paraphrase.
FRUS labels the entry “[Paraphrase]”. The complete published paraphrase is reproduced; it is not represented as the verbatim original telegram. English is the repository’s published transcription, not a scan of the signed original. Whitespace is normalised and footnote references are displayed in brackets. Armenian is an AI-reviewed working translation, not an official or specialist-certified translation.
