A sourced record of legislation, elections, institutions, civic space, media and international assessments.
Counting & sources
This is a curated register, not an exhaustive count. Each event has one primary category and is counted once within this monitor. Repeated reports and translations do not create extra events. Shared developments may appear in related monitors and must not be added together as unique events. Counts measure recorded developments, not policy success or democratic quality. Gaps do not establish inactivity.
Official statements establish what the issuing body recorded or announced. They do not by themselves prove that every commitment was fulfilled. Event dates drive charts; later publication dates are retained separately. The register is selective and will need further additions.

Parliamentary election draws a mixed observer assessment
ElectionsPublished assessmentKey event
Parliamentary elections
International observers noted meaningful choice and generally free campaigning, alongside voter pressure, unequal conditions and compromised ballot secrecy.
The assessment concerns the 26 October election and was published the following day; it is not a judicial annulment.
ODIHR’s final report found competitive, generally well-administered elections alongside intimidation allegations, resource imbalances and advantages of incumbency.
The report covers both October 2021 rounds; its mixed assessment is retained as a historical comparison point.
