"Hayk's Arrow" Armenian Strategic CenterA sourced record of talks, agreements, border arrangements, transport, trade and humanitarian contacts.
Each record has one primary category and is counted once. A meeting that addresses several topics remains one event. Repeated announcements, translations and mirrored reports do not create extra events. The chart measures documented developments, not the success of normalization.
Event dates determine the timeline; a later publication date is shown separately. Month-only dates are retained when the exact day is not established. Official statements verify what a body recorded, agreed or announced; implementation is identified separately. Coverage is selective and may be expanded.

Türkiye recognized Armenia’s independence in December 1991.
The Armenian MFA gives 24 December; the Turkish MFA gives 16 December. The original recognition instrument was not located, so only the month is recorded; recognition did not establish diplomatic relations.
