A sourced record of talks, agreements, border arrangements, transport, trade and humanitarian contacts.
Counting & sources
Each record has one primary category and is counted once. A meeting that addresses several topics remains one event. Repeated announcements, translations and mirrored reports do not create extra events. The chart measures documented developments, not the success of normalization.
Event dates determine the timeline; a later publication date is shown separately. Month-only dates are retained when the exact day is not established. Official statements verify what a body recorded, agreed or announced; implementation is identified separately. Coverage is selective and may be expanded.

Pashinyan and Erdoğan reviewed normalization, business links and Ani Bridge restoration at the UN General Assembly.
The official readout calls for implementing existing agreements and promoting trade and economic ties. It does not report that the common border or restored bridge was opened.

The readout distinguishes the initialed Armenia–Azerbaijan agreement from the Armenia–Türkiye normalization process. The leaders agreed to continued political dialogue.
The envoys met at Margara–Alican and agreed to assess rail requirements and simplify official-passport visas.
The railway concerned the Akhurik–Akyaka crossing. Assessment and visa facilitation were agreed steps, not evidence that rail service or the visa changes were already operating.
Mirzoyan and Fidan discussed normalization with both special representatives present.
They exchanged views on concrete steps and reaffirmed the aim of full normalization. The envoys’ participation does not make this a seventh formal envoy round.
