A sourced record of Armenia–EU diplomacy, agreements, reforms, mobility, economic support and security cooperation.
Counting & sources
This is a curated register, not an exhaustive count of every meeting or EU-funded activity. Each record has one primary category. Repeated reports, translated copies and individual clauses do not create extra events. A single programme’s successive legal, funding and implementation stages may be recorded separately when independently dated. Gaps do not establish inactivity.
Event dates drive the charts; later publication dates are retained separately. A national law expressing European aspirations is not an EU decision granting candidate status. Visa facilitation, a liberalisation action plan and visa-free travel are different legal stages. Announced or approved assistance is not treated as disbursed funding. Assessments establish what the issuing institution reported, not independent proof of every outcome.

The EIB project register records signature of €236 million in financing for the Sisian–Kajaran road.
The project register gives 12 November; the press release was published on 15 November. Signature establishes a financing commitment, not full disbursement or road completion.
EIB Global announced its first direct Armenian commercial-bank credit line: €55 million for Acba to finance businesses.
This record uses the EIB announcement date. The operation is a loan through a bank, not a €55 million grant or evidence that every final borrower received funds that day.
The Commission announced €270 million in grants for Armenia under the 2024–2027 Resilience and Growth Plan.
The multi-year plan supports socioeconomic resilience and investment. Its announced grant envelope is not a same-day payment, nor is it the value of every separately announced EIB loan.
The Partnership Council agreed to develop a new Partnership Agenda while reviewing CEPA implementation and reforms.
The joint statement dates the fifth meeting to 13 February 2024. Agreement to develop an agenda is kept distinct from its later adoption in December 2025.
A new EU implementation report reviewed Armenia’s reforms since the May 2022 assessment.
The underlying document SWD(2024)41 is dated 9 February; the Council’s transmission cover is dated 12 February. The event uses the report’s own date and treats its findings as an EU assessment.
