A sourced record of Armenia–EU diplomacy, agreements, reforms, mobility, economic support and security cooperation.
Counting & sources
This is a curated register, not an exhaustive count of every meeting or EU-funded activity. Each record has one primary category. Repeated reports, translated copies and individual clauses do not create extra events. A single programme’s successive legal, funding and implementation stages may be recorded separately when independently dated. Gaps do not establish inactivity.
Event dates drive the charts; later publication dates are retained separately. A national law expressing European aspirations is not an EU decision granting candidate status. Visa facilitation, a liberalisation action plan and visa-free travel are different legal stages. Announced or approved assistance is not treated as disbursed funding. Assessments establish what the issuing institution reported, not independent proof of every outcome.

The sixth Partnership Council adopted the Strategic Agenda for the EU–Armenia Partnership.
The Council met on 2 December; the joint statement was published on 3 December 2025. The agenda sets cooperation priorities building on CEPA. The meeting and adoption count as one record, not separate occurrences or an accession agreement.
EIB Global signed a €100 million loan with Armenia’s Central Bank for finance through local institutions to small businesses.
The operation is backed by EFSD+ and targets underserved enterprises, including outside Yerevan. Signature does not establish that €100 million had already reached final borrowers.
Pashinyan met European Council President Costa and Commission President von der Leyen in Brussels to advance the partnership.
The leaders welcomed political agreement on a new Partnership Agenda and sought its adoption by the Partnership Council. This meeting was not a new accession decision or the later formal agenda adoption.
Armenia’s National Assembly adopted the law on launching the country’s EU accession process.
Law HO-70-N was adopted on 26 March, signed on 4 April, officially published on 7 April and entered into force on 17 April 2025. It is Armenian legislation and does not itself establish an EU application, candidate status or accession negotiations.
EIB Global announced a €105 million loan agreement with Ameriabank for Armenian businesses and green investment.
The chart uses the announcement date; an independent contract-signature date was not established here. This is bank-intermediated lending, with EU grant support for affordability, not €105 million in grants.
