    The 2001 Who is Who directory identifies Safarov as chair of the Azerbaijan Refugees Society.

    Named body: “Azerbaijan Refugees Society”

    Page 344 gives 1992 as his election year; the later institutional account gives 1993. The election date remains unresolved.

    The directory’s imprint and library catalog support the 2001 edition; its entry names the society’s chair. This is bibliographic evidence, not proof of the claimed election year or WAC succession.
