Undated Office community profile; population reference year unstated

What the figure measures
The Diaspora Office explicitly estimates about 700 Armenians 'today', without a reference year or counting method. This is selected as an attributed community reference; the embassy's undated estimate of 900–1,000 remains a differing alternative.

What the figure measures
National Statistical Committee estimate of ethnic Armenians at the start of the year, table 4.9. The same yearbook gives 500 in the 2022 census; this is not a count of all Armenian ancestry.

Data limitation: The Office's more-than-3,000 figure appears in a historical paragraph alongside 2003/2004 and subsequent decline after 2010; it is not explicitly dated as a current estimate. Do not turn these alternatives into a 700–3,000 range. The separate host-country official ethnic-Armenian estimate is 505 at the start of 2025, following 500 in the 2022 census. Checking the undated pages in 2026 does not make their estimates 2026 data.

Selected institutions, not a complete inventory or ranking. Listings and dated reports do not independently establish present services. Armenian churches and media were not verified. All entries rely on the undated official profile; locations other than historical Caravan are not specified there.

Directory sources checked:

This is a selected guide, not a complete inventory or a ranking of influence. A direct source documents what an institution publishes about itself; it does not independently verify every claim or establish uninterrupted operation. Directory listings and historical records carry their stated limits. Dates identify the publication, documented activity or report reference period, as described in the entry. Missing source dates are shown explicitly. Inclusion does not imply partnership or endorsement.

Kyrgyzstan: Topics for further observation

These are proposed research topics, not findings about the community.

  • Clarify the date and population definition behind the community estimate.
  • Verify recent institutional activity and the availability of Armenian-language education.
Kyrgyzstan: How to read the figures

A census count, an ancestry response and a community estimate measure different populations. Dates and definitions remain attached to each figure. The covered-country sum uses selected reference values, range midpoints and stated boundaries for “more than” or “up to”; it is not a synchronized population count or a statistical confidence interval. Undated and historical estimates are not current resident counts. The independently published worldwide estimate must not be added to the country sum.
